Determination, Preparation, Observation
To say that its a “challenge” to eat clean the next couple months is an understatement. We are surrounded with temptation at every turn. There’s the local coffee shop, dinner with friends, and even our own fridge. We simply can’t escape the barrage of tempting food and drinks. So lets strategize shall we.
Determination:
Be determined to make good choices. Keeping your goal at the forefront of your mind will help you. If your goal is to remain healthy and feeling good the next two months then make sure your food and drink choices are in harmony with your intention.
Preparation:
Knowing that temptation is lurking around every corner makes preparation key. A good strategy is to never go to an event hungry. Eating a small healthy snack prior to spending time with friends and family will result in you consuming less of the food and drinks not in harmony with your goals.
Observation:
Look at the food and drinks placed before you. Is your absolute favorite dish there? If so then indulge, moderately of course. However, if you answered no, then eat clean and save your indulgence for something you truly enjoy.
No excuses. Don’t allow this time of year to place your further away from your health and fitness goals. Be aware of what you are consuming. It adds up. A bite here, a drink there, and soon we are 10 pounds up and feeling poorly. Eat clean and plan your indulgences. Food journaling will also help you get an honest appraisal of how your doing. Don’t leave your health to chance. You can do it!
